Programme Purpose: This action falls within the research field "Domain Earth System Science and Environmental Management". It has as object to evaluate the potential impacts of climate change on agriculture and the assessment of key limits (thresholds) for the different regions of Europe. H Sensing Work Group has focused on the investigation of the potential of satellite remote sensing and particularly of Vegetation Index (NDVI) in identifying and studying satellite data that can be used to predict seasonal changes in crops.
