Professional Experience & Research Interests
Professional Experience: Dr Dimitrios Baxevanos is a senior researcher in Hellenic Agricultural Organization "Demeter" Institute of Industrial & Forage Crops since 2011 as Forage and Pulses Breeder. He gained his PhD and MSc in University of Thessaly on cotton breeding with emphasis in Genotype x Environment Interaction, Stability Analysis and Multivariate statistical models. He worked since 1992 though sales, marketing, technical development and plant breeding research programs for multinational companies Delta & Pine Land, Monsanto and Pioneer.
Main research interests: Genetics & Plant breeding, development of new varieties with emphasis in cotton, cereals, forage legumes and pulses.
